Leeds based Producer & DJ Ventah is responsible for being one of the earliest to bring the forever growing Footwork sound to the underground UK scene through his iconic label Good Street Records. Throughout a range of releases via his own imprint, Subwork, Ten Toes Turbo and more Ventah has seamlessly merged the sound of Footwork and Juke with a variety of genres including Jungle, Dub and more, but always doing so with his own unique twist.

This time around he has chosen to hone in on the sounds of classic Soul and Funk for a three track release on Alura Records. Smooth, sexy sampling is combined with disjointed, frantic rhythms which merges an unlikely partnership that works on and off the dancefloor.
